At Non-Ferrous Extrusions, we go to extraordinary lengths to ensure these problems never arise. We recognize that losses due to shipment damage are simply unacceptable. After your product successfully passes our stringent quality assurance checkpoints, it is meticulously prepped for shipping.
Every piece of stock is thoroughly analyzed for defects, guaranteeing that only our best work reaches you. Products are typically wrapped in durable PE film or kraft paper to protect the aluminum from environmental elements. Subsequently, the aluminum is carefully placed on a carton or wooden craft and securely strapped down with plastic banding or ties to prevent movement during transit.
For customers who prefer to manage their own transportation, our "will call" service is a flexible and convenient option available at both our Houston and Caldwell locations.
Standard Processing: We generally require 24 business hours to process an order for will-call pickup.

Job Site Safety: Our delivery drivers will determine if your job site is safe for unloading material. Any changes to the originally quoted job site location while the driver is en route may result in a drop charge fee to accommodate the change.
Recommended Unloading Equipment: To ensure your material remains free from damage, it is highly recommended to have appropriate equipment for unloading your order, such as a forklift, tractor/bobcat with forks, or a crane. This is the safest and most effective method.
Receipt of Materials: Non-Ferrous Extrusions requires that a designated individual sign for the receipt of materials upon delivery. This individual must verify the number of bundles delivered, check for any piece or packaging damage, and confirm the correctness of the delivered extrusions. If no one is available to sign, we reserve the right to either leave the material at your dock or return it to our facility for storage until a suitable person is available to accept the load.
A majority of our customers prefer to arrange their own transportation. We work diligently to maintain tight and accurate schedules, ensuring your order is ready when your truck arrives. Our dedicated staff will collaborate with your drivers to safely load your aluminum stock.
