Your product will be treated with care! One of the biggest scrap and reject factors in the aluminum industry comes from “handling damage”. We go out our way to ensure these problems never arise. We understand you can’t afford to have losses due to shipment damage. After your product passes our quality assurance check-point, it is prepped for shipping. Every piece of stock is analyzed for defects, so that you only get our best work. We typically wrap our products in PE film or kraft paper to protect the aluminum from the elements. Our team will then place the aluminum on a carton or wooden craft, to be strapped down with plastic banding or ties.

Immediate “will calls” are part of our every day service. We offer will call options for both our Houston and Caldwell location. We generally need 24 business hours to process an order. If you need something faster, please call. Many of our customers have found it far more convenient to place their orders in advance rather than stand in line while we process their order.
When scheduling an appointment to pick-up your order, please feel free to call us over the phone. Doing so will give our team a schedule that will allow us to prepare your products. This is important because the handling of aluminum can be fragile. ,Non-Ferrous Truck Shipping
We offer local transportation services upon customer request. We will also work for you to get the best price on freight outside our local delivery area. Call or email us today for quick, dependable on-time delivery services. It is to the discretion of Non-Ferrous Extrusions’ delivery driver to determine if your job site is safe to unload your material. Any changes to the originally quoted job site location while driver is in route may result in a drop charge fee to accommodate the change.
It is recommended to have equipment to unload your order that is equipped with forks. Forklift, tractor/bobcat w/forks, crane, etc…This will be the safest & best way to ensure your material to be free from damage.
Non-Ferrous Extrusions requires that an individual (which you choose) sign for “receipt” of materials upon delivery. This individual must count; verify number of bundles delivered; review for any piece or packaging damage; and make sure delivered extrusions are correct. If no one is available to sign we reserve the right to either leave the material on your dock or return it back to our facility for storage until someone suitable is available to accept the load.
Customer Provided Shipping
A majority of our customers often provide their own transportation arrangements. We work hard to keep schedules tight and accurate to ensure we will be ready when you arrive. Our staff will work with your drivers to safely load our aluminum stock.
